The Alce Nero organic tomato pulp with basil is made from tomatoes grown in Italy.
Tomatoes are harvested in July, August and September and are processed to preserve their flavours, fragrance and nutritional properties. Tomatoes are washed, selected, peeled and diced in preparation for the next step.
Basil and tomato paste is added and the product is then heated to high temperatures, bottled and pasteurised to guarantee its stability over time. The Alce Nero organic tomato pulp with basil is free from additives.
