The Alce Nero organic tomato pulp is made from tomatoes grown in Italy.
Tomatoes are harvested in July, August and September and are processed to preserve their flavours, fragrance and nutritional properties. Tomatoes are washed, selected, peeled and diced in preparation for the next phase. Then, tomato paste is added and the product is then heated to high temperatures, bottled and pasteurised to guarantee its stability over time.
The Alce Nero organic tomato pulp is free from additives and added salt.
