The Alce Nero organic green tea is a fine selection of tea from India’s plantations.
The Alce Nero organic green tea (amellia Sinensis is the plant of origin) is a blend of selected green teas characterised by a light flavour, pleasant aroma and golden colour. The Alce Nero organic green tea is a fine selection of green tea from the plantations of India that preserves all the aroma and taste typical of the plantation.
Camellia Sinensis, the plant from which tea is made, is an evergreen shrub, whose processing begins when it reaches its third year with the hand-picking of the young leaves, which constitute the best crop. Green teas are also known as 'unfermented teas', as the leaves do not undergo fermentation, but are treated with steam jets and dried by means of hot air currents. In this way, the enzymes that cause fermentation remain inactive, there is no oxidation of the tannin and the leaves retain their green colour.
A 2-3 minute infusion is recommended for green tea, but it is good to know that theine has beneficial qualities that can be dosed with careful preparation. The temperature of the water should not exceed 80°C (it is therefore advisable to let it rest for a few moments after boiling and not to pour it directly onto the tea filter). The box contains 20 individually wrapped bags. The filters are 100% compostable.
