Millet belongs to the Gramineae family, the plant was cultivated in Central and Eastern Europe as early as Neolithic times (6,000 - 6,500 years ago). It is an annual herbaceous plant that can reach a height of 1/1.5m.
It is a hulled cereal with a delicate taste, ideal for enriching soups, purees and stews or for creating tasty vegetable-based casseroles or meatballs.
