The Alce Nero Organic Extra virgin olive oil P.G.I. is produced with a blend of Cima di Bitonto and Coratina cultivars from olives grown in the province of Bari, as required by the PDO specification.
Alce Nero's Terra di Bari Bitonto D.O.P. organic extra virgin olive oil is green-yellow in colour, has a medium fruity aroma with hints of fresh herbs and a light hint of bitterness and spiciness; it is an ideal oil for cereal soups, meat dishes, grilled vegetables and bruschetta.
The olives are harvested between October and January, manually and with the help of mechanical facilitators to minimise the damage that the fruit may suffer. Once harvested, olives are sent to the press, where the production process begins, transforming the olives into oil by means of cold pressing.
We have always worked to be able to guarantee and inform about the characteristics, origin, cultivation and processing methods of our organic products.
It is our commitment to keep all legal information up to date, but you may find differences from the packaging actually available.
