Alce Nero organic puréed pumpkin soup is made exclusively from organic vegetables.
The blend of ingredients, cooking method and packaging result in a puréed soup with a velvety consistency, and a delicate, slightly sweet flavour. Pumpkin and sweet potatoes are the main ingredients of the puréed pumpkin soup and add a creamy consistency along with a "bright" orange colour and delicate, slightly sweet flavour to the recipe. Celeriac and a pinch of curry add an aromatic touch to the Alce Nero Puréed pumpkin soup. Only Alce Nero extra virgin olive oil is used to prepare our fresh soups, made from Italian olives from our 160 olive farmers who are member growers.
Our fresh soups are prepared so as not to alter the organoleptic properties of ingredients used. A system similar to the one used at home is applied on an industrial scale: Alce Nero fresh soups are prepared in large "pots", ensuring all ingredients are cooked for just the right amount of time. When the soups are ready, the bowls are immediately filled when still hot and then sealed. The packaged product is immediately and rapidly chilled to preserve its organoleptic properties and improve conservation. Shortly after packaging, all products are transported in refrigerated vehicles to distribution platforms or directly to points of sale. Once packaged, the cold chain is never broken, since the soups are produced fresh and require fridge temperatures for their correct conservation.
Alce Nero cream of pumpkin soup is ideal served hot, but it is also delicious served warm. Each package contains two portions. All packaging used is made from recyclable materials, by Italian companies.
