Alce Nero organic purée is made from tomatoes grown in Italy.

Tomatoes are harvested in July, August and September and are processed to preserve their flavours, fragrance and nutritional properties.

Alce Nero creamy tomato purée has a finer consistency compared to the classic one and is available in a practical package of three cartons to avoid waste. Alce Nero organic creamy purée is free from additives and added salt.

In accordance with organic farming regulations, no synthetic chemical treatments are applied and nothing but organic fertiliser is used.

The harvested tomatoes are processed to preserve their flavours, fragrance and nutritional properties. Once washed, they are heated, peeled and puréed.

The purée is then concentrated, bottled and pasteurised to ensure stability over time and perfect conservation. The average Brix value for this product (a unit of measurement used to express its degree of sweetness) is between 8 and 10.
