Fresh Alce Nero polenta is prepared using only cornflour and whole cornflour that is Italian and organic.
The addition of whole flour gives the polenta a more characteristic appearance and flavour. Fresh Alce Nero polenta is prepared in a very simple way, to retain as much of the ‘copper pot’ tradition as possible. Hot water is poured into a pan and then the ingredients are added, first the cornflour and then the salt, before it is all brought to a slow boil.
The consistency is soft on the spoon, excellent as a side dish or just as it is, enriched with cheeses or other ingredients. It can be prepared in just a few minutes. All packaging used is made from recyclable materials, by Italian companies.
